When the walls are crumbling again And you’re tired and running out of steam And you think that you’ve lost that golden dream I’ll give you everything you’ll ever need When you sleep I’ll watch over your bed And protect you from the nightmares in your head And when you’re all alone and it’s too dark to see I’ll give you everything you’ll ever need Oh don’t slip away Don’t fade to grey ‘Cuz I’ll give you everything you’ll ever need When you’re old and time has come your way And you’ve seen your childhood slip away And when that other grass don’t seem so green I’ll give you everything you’ll ever need I’ll give you everything, everything that you need if you please I’ll give you everything, everything that you need if you please Oh don’t slip away Don’t fade to grey ‘Cuz I’ll give you everything you’ll ever need Manda Boo Songs/Bug House (ASCAP)

I trace the shape get swept away by a single wave lost at sea I sink slowly falling deep falling deep I chase the spark to find my way inside, my way inside, your big blue heart diving down without a sound iIm lost and found in search of gold desire grows dreams unfold dreams unfold I chase the spark to find the secrets of, the secrets of your big blue heart your big blue heart find my way inside find my way inside your big blue heart there’s room inside no where to hide now we’re here I chose to believe in what I can’t see I’m floating free drifting free I lite the spark to show the way inside, the way inside my big blue heart find your way inside find my way inside big blue big blue heart

The straight line That you walked has turned away The night is day The path I stray Until we meet again The porch light That you lit has burned and gone Your marble fawn will carry on Until we meet again Until we meet again I’ll be waiting for you Until we meet again The stars shine Up above and down below The embers glow A cosmic show Until we meet again The truth that lies before my eyes I see too late and so I wait

The world’s gone awry We cannot deny It could be better It could be better Nothings seems right But the future looks bright It could be stronger It could be stronger The reason I know this Is because all I know is It will be alright It will be alright Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, Hallelujah This feeling of knowing That everything’s growing, Hallelujah Will there be a day When this all goes away What is the meaning How do we keep This connection we seek It could be stronger It could be stronger The reason I know this Is because all I know is It will be alright It will be alright Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, Hallelujah Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, Hallelujah This feeling of knowing That everything’s growing, Hallelujah

heading home... to the farm where my mother steered me from harm where my father showed me how to be a man chased the rabbits through the field crashed my bike, bent up the wheels funny how the heart does crave all that's swept away, time and weather came all those memories, still hold sway so come on down, let your sweet light shine under the old cottonwood tree, where the price for life was free come on down, let your sweet light shine it's the part of you that I can always find I need some shade, in the summer corn building fires, for the winter storm the holy grail was right in front of me fight the windmills in the fields with wooden swords and cardboard shields funny how the heart does crave all that's swept away, time and weather came all those memories, still hold sway so come on down, let your sweet light shine under the old cottonwood tree, where the price for life was free come on down, let your sweet light shine it's the part of you that I can always find and though the buildings are all gone I still hear your voice singing, "Boy, carry on!" so come on down

Those summer days keep slipping away from me I made mistakes, now you're running away from here I can't pull you back out of yesterday You're too far I'm going crazy Looking for Sunshine Was it in my mind Maybe you'll come back I keep thinking someday You'll give me a sweet sign Hoping your walls will come tumbling down My silent heart is waiting to follow you In the dark, I'm pleading to let me through 'Cause I can't stand in the shadows of yesterday It's too hard I'm going crazy Looking for Sunshine Was it in my mind Maybe you'll come back I keep thinking someday You'll give me a sweet sign Hoping your walls will come tumbling down Shine your light on the shadows and let me know Where you are I'm going crazy Looking for Sunshine Was it in my mind Maybe you'll come back I keep thinking someday You'll give me a sweet sign Hoping your walls will come tumbling down www.shannonhurley.com

When troubled times are all that I can see help me raise my voice as an instrument of peace & could you be my strength and lead me home if I'm too tired and I can't stand alone May I walk beside you as a friend - keep you heart true till the end of an endless end. If the night is dark and there's no going home just close your eyes and know your not alone. When it seems this world is but a dream that you can't shake I will hold you near - till the dawn appears. For in that steady grace no prayer ever goes to waste; they all reach someone - when all is said and done... So in the winter when it's cold as death may we stand together until we come to rest. And in the open arms of heart and home I'll walk with you into the great unknown. So, close your eyes and know you're not alone

Josephine, raven black and shooting blue stars Josephine, I would lay it all down just to be where you are Said I been out walkin’ 50 stones in my shoes I been tearin’ my heart out, just to rid me of you Josephine, tell me what am I gonna do? Josephine, cold and lonely October night Josephine, I don’t things will be workin’ fine Well, I been up walkin’ pacing holes in the floor I can’t push this down anymore Josephine, tell me what am I gonna do? All night, all of my senses get swept away All night, I keep hopin’ to rock these sins away Rock them away Well, I been out walkin’ 50 stones in my shoes I been tearin’ my heart out, just to rid me of you Josephine, tell me what am I gonna do? All night, all of my senses get swept away All night, I keep hopin’ to rock these sins away Rock them away Josephine, raven black and shooting blue stars Josephine, I would lay it all down just to be where you are

TELL ME WILL I SEE YOUR FACE, WHEN THE SUN COMES UP? WILL YOU POUR ME OUT YOUR HEART FROM YOUR COFFEE CUP? WILL YOU BE THERE, WILL YOU BE THERE, WILL I FEEL YOUR FLAME? WILL YOU BURN AWAY MY FEARS AND SHINE AWAY MY RAIN? WHO WILL BE THERE THROUGH THE FLOOD AND FIRE WHO WILL STAND WITH ME AND WALK THE WIRE? COULD IT BE YOU? NOTHING LEFT TO CHANCE, NO ONE LEFT TO BLAME WHEN THERE’S NONE LEFT STANDING WILL YOU REMAIN? IF I’M SOMEWHERE DOWN THE ROAD WILL YOU CALL MY NAME IF I MESS THIS UP AGAIN, WILL YOU TAKE THE BLAME? WILL YOU BE THERE, WILL YOU BE THERE WILL YOU ALWAYS BELIEVE? WILL YOU BE THERE THROUGH THE RISE AND FALL AND EVERYTHING BETWEEN? WHO WILL BE THERE THROUGH THE FLOOD AND FIRE WHO WILL STAND WITH ME AND WALK THE WIRE? COULD IT BE YOU? NOTHING LEFT TO CHANCE, NO ONE LEFT TO BLAME WHEN THERE’S NONE LEFT STANDING WILL YOU REMAIN? WILL YOU BE THERE, WILL YOU BE THERE, IN MY TECHNICOLOR DREAMS? SWIRLING YELLOW, GREEN AND BLUE, ALL MELTING INTO YOU. WHO WILL BE THERE THROUGH THE FLOOD AND FIRE WHO WILL STAND WITH ME AND WALK THE WIRE? COULD IT BE YOU? NOTHING LEFT TO CHANCE, NO ONE LEFT TO BLAME WHEN THERE’S NONE LEFT STANDING WILL YOU REMAIN….

The past is such a bastard I’m walkin through the glass of a shattered life I’m tryin to move faster, so baby if I split then it’s no surprise And I hope that I don’t have to have the answers, have to see the light Have to have the answers tonight Just gimme a chance, I’ll show you Just gimme a chance, you’ll see Anything is possible, all you’ve got to do is believe  Just gimme a chance, I’ll show you Just gimme a chance, you’ll see Nothin is impossible, all you’ve go to do is believe Despite the circumstances, I try to do the best with what they dealt me And you may know me better than I know myself, at least for now And you know, that you don’t have to have the answers, have to make it right Have to have the answers tonight Just gimme a chance, I’ll show you Just gimme a chance, you’ll see Anything is possible, all you’ve got to do is believe  Just gimme a chance, I’ll show you Just gimme a chance, you’ll see Nothin is impossible, all you’ve go to do is believe And now we see the sunrise, same old light through different eyes The clouds that used to keep us, just drift away through open skies Just gimme a chance, I’ll show you Just gimme a chance, you’ll see Anything is possible, all you’ve got to do is believe  Just gimme a chance, I’ll show you Just gimme a chance, you’ll see Nothin is impossible, all you’ve go to do is believe Just gimme a chance, just gimme a chance All you’ve got to do is Just gimme a chance, just gimme a chance All you’ve to to do is believe

In the house of straw where we built our love We could not care about how frail it was Or how it took just a little shove To remind us we could never nail it. But you hold me close and I'm in my home I feel it down to my aching bones All my friends are broken Some kind of way Some are cracked wide open Some come out okay. There's no way of knowing Who will break It is not fair I just keep on hoping We are not beyond repair. And the walls of stone that you built for years They blocked the world and they held you in And all it took was a spill of tears To find the depth of the well you swim But we've sent a rope, and you're coming home To feel the warmth on your chilly bones All my friends are broken Some kind of way Some are cracked wide open Some come out okay. There's no way of knowing Who will break It is not fair I just keep on hoping We are not beyond repair. I just keep on hoping We are not beyond repair.

Somebody’s coffee cup Somebody’s tooth brush Somebody’s pocket change Left behind in a rush Nobody’s comin’ home Somebody’s out of touch Somebody’s out of time Somebody’s left behind Like rain on rain like sunshine on sunshine I suited you, you suited me just fine And all the time we had now it’s all mine All mine Nobody else will do Nobody makes your sound Somebody looked like you Until they turned around Somebody’s extra keys Somebody’s wrist watch Somebody’s guarantees Left behind in the breeze

Brother will bear a heavy burden and late at night he still calls my name. He wants to throw his arms around me, no one can know my brother’s pain. Father will bear a heavy burden and late at night he still calls my name. He wishes somehow he could have saved me, no one can know my father’s pain. For I’m bound to leave this field of sorrow, my work is done and it’s time to go. But where I’m headed, you may not follow. There’s still a seed here that you must sow. Mother will bear a heavy burden and late at night she still calls my name. She longed to see me grow to a woman, no one can know my mother’s pain. But my dear, dear family, I’m all around you. I hear you when you call my name. I’m in the whispered breath of morning, the gentle touch of evening rain. For I’m bound to leave this field of sorrow, my work is done and it’s time to go. But where I’m headed, you may not follow. There’s still a seed here that you must sow.

my window faces the north and the east the morning sun wakes me he won't give me peace there's room here beside me but i guess you know if it weren't for the sun we'd be watching the snow through the bare branches in skies bleached and bland the airliners float as they ready to land oh i know that people come and they go but i thought by now we'd be watching the snow cold grey days stole summer away by degrees still i thought that we'd find a way to fight off the freeze caught the storm on our tongues tried to melt them inside but none of our wishes could make winter die it came with a bite but none of the show so i stand here alone by my open window missing your warmth and watching for snow

Here we are on a starry night Here I stand under the moonlight I know it’s time but I don’t wanna Say goodbye, say goodbye, my friend. Yeah, you’re leavin’ and you gotta go Where you’re headed, nobody knows But I’ll see you again after my show So goodbye, oh goodbye, until then. Think of the good times Think of the good times Think of the good times we’ve had Oh, together you and me, my friend. It’s so hard to say I love you It’s so hard to say goodbye. In this life, we don’t have very long We’re just driftin’ like the words of a song But I’m doin’ my best, my best to be strong An’ keep on keepin’ keep on keepin’ on. Remember Think of the good times, think of the good times Think of the good times we’ve had Oh, together you and me, yeah forever you know we will be And I will see you in the end.
